The KSP Shop with a Trooper 5K is hosted by Sligo Baptist Church. The course covers beautiful Kentucky horse land in L'Espirit. The race starts and ends at the double spired sales pavilion at 1378 L'Espirit Parkway. This is a great event for serious runners and whole families alike. Come on out and enjoy a great morning with us! Walkers are always welcome. 

Two-thirds of the proceeds benefit The Kentucky State Police Shop with a Trooper program for local for kids at Christmas time and one-third goes to mission scholarships for those needing help to go and serve on mission trips from Sligo Baptist.

We will have an in-person event with chip timing on Labor Day morning, September 7 at 8:30 AM. Please arrive wearing a mask. You will not be required to wear your mask during the run/walk, but will be asked to wear it before and after. Water will be provided in bottles. Feel free to bring your own sports drink or water of you'd rather.

We will do allow can do to keep you safe! We hope you will enjoy this chance to get out and run with your neighbors while respecting each other's space.
